Vintage water skis by Vogue (rare)
Matched pair of water skis in excellent condition
Vogue 65 inch, with fin. Tops are striped color with black, white and blue. Bottoms are white.
Manufactured by Vogue Skis. This comment by a person who sold a lot of skis. "Skied on Vogues for a long long time, still have one (cracked it). Sold lots of them too back when Vogue was right up the street in Temple City and I was in El Monte, then West Covina ... Vogues were $100+ range skis back in the day, would pick 8-12 of them up at the factory at a time. They sold like hotcakes."
Another expert says about Vogue Skis, "The first ski I owned was a Ski King from Burbank Water Ski Company, but it quickly was put aside in favor of a Vogue when they first released their concave design. One of our family friends repped for Vogue (another for Taperflex), so I got the killer deal, and still have it in a bag in my garage."
Vogue is a respected brand by ski collectors. Some express enthusiasm for skiing on them, other collectors prefer them as wall art.

I live in Florida and bought these skis about 25 years ago to ski. However, we divorced and they have been in storage until now.
Some older Vogues have a square bottom, but this one has the rounded bottom. The original binding rubber is in great shape. There are 1 or 2 missing screws on the side of the boot (see photo.)
