Located in Gainesville, Florida, North Florida Regional is a 445:bed, full:service medical and surgical acute care facility serving 14 counties in North:Central Florida. NFRMC is a member of Hospital Corporation of America (HCA). Responsible for the daily operations, clinical and administrative activities and personnel of the Senior Healthcare Center. Acts as a liaison to Director, Physicians, and interdisciplinary team. Provides safe and effective nursing care to patients utilizing the nursing processes. Responsible for the direction and supervision of personnel assigned to deliver that care.EDUCATION REQUIRED AND/OR PREFERRED: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing. BSN preferred. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED OR PREFERRED: 3:5 years related healthcare experience required. Experience with geriatric healthcare preferred. 2:3 years management experience strongly preferred. SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES: Demonstrated success and abilities in communication, leadership, achieving results, managing multiple priorities, employee engagement, customer service and health care management. Ability to work in an office environment, attend meetings, work independently and in interdisciplinary team settings. Proficient in computer use and utilizing software programs. LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION: RN license in the State of Florida required. BLS certification required.
