Located in Gainesville, Florida, North Florida Regional is a 445-bed, full-service medical and surgical acute care facility serving 14 counties in North-Central Florida. NFRMC is a member of Hospital Corporation of America (HCA). 47-bed unit. The Orthopedic floor is a medical/surgical unit with primary focus on adult orthopedic patients. Our orthopedic team is comprised of the area's most respected doctors and medical staff, who specialize in all types of orthopedic surgery. Our physicians are joined by a professional team of specially trained nurses, physical therapists, case managers and dietitians to provide a comprehensive, multidisciplinary approach to treating patients. The Med/Surg/Ortho RN Provides safe and effective nursing care to assigned patients utilizing the nursing process. Responsible for the direction and supervision of personnel assigned to deliver that care.
