Job Description: Job Description Registered Nurse Cardivascular Critical Care (CVU, Nights) ( Job Number: xxxx9-xxxx ) Description Located in Gainesville, Florida, North Florida Regional is a 445-bed, full-service medical and surgical acute care facility serving 14 counties in North-Central Florida. NFRMC is a member of Hospital Corporation of America (HCA). The CVU is a 10 bed unit caring for open heart surgeries, lung surgeries, complex vascular surgeries and unstable cardiac diagnoses. Job Summary: Provides safe and effective nursing care to assigned patients utilizing the nursing process. Responsible for the direction and supervision of personnel assigned to deliver that care. Qualifications EDUCATION REQUIRED AND/OR PREFERRED: Graduation from an accredited school of Nursing. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED OR PREFERRED: Critical care experience preferred. SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES: Demonstrated skills in organization, verbal and written communications, customer service, math, analysis, reading, following instruction, basic computer usage.
